If you see something made with Typecut that is illegal, infringes your rights, uses your voice or likeness without permission, or breaks our Acceptable Use Policy, tell us. You do not need an account.

The fastest way

Every shared Typecut video has a Report button. It sends us the link and your reason directly.

By email

Write to hello@typecut.aiwith the subject “Content report” and include:

the link to the content (a share link, or where you saw it published);
what is wrong, and why you believe it is illegal or breaks our rules;
your name and email, unless you are reporting child sexual abuse material, which you may report anonymously;
a statement that you believe in good faith that the information in your report is accurate and complete.

We review every report, act on valid ones, and tell you what we decided. We tell the account owner what we did and why, and they can contest it. Reports of child sexual abuse material and threats to life are handled first and passed to the authorities.

Your voice or likeness

If someone has cloned your voice or used your face or likeness without your permission, report it as above and say that you are the person concerned (or act for them). We may ask for something that shows it is you. We remove confirmed misuse, including the cloned voice itself.

Copyright claims

For copyright infringement, your notice should also include: identification of the copyrighted work; the material you say infringes it and where to find it; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or that you had the right to use it, you can send a counter-notice with the same details, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your district (or Wyoming if you are outside the United States). We close the accounts of repeat infringers.
